Meet Alaina

Alaina C. Kuzmitsky advises businesses, lenders, developers, and individuals on a wide range of transactional and planning matters. Her practice combines estate planning, business law, real estate, and commercial transactions, allowing her to help clients develop comprehensive strategies that protect both their families and their assets. In addition to her estate planning practice, Alaina regularly assists with business acquisitions and sales, commercial lending transactions, entity formation and governance, contract negotiation, commercial leasing, and real estate purchases, sales, and development projects. She enjoys helping clients anticipate and address legal issues before they become disputes and provides practical guidance tailored to each client’s objectives and long-term goals. Her multidisciplinary practice allows her to address the legal issues that frequently intersect with estate planning, particularly those involving family businesses, investment properties, and succession planning.

Known for her attention to detail and responsive approach, Alaina recognizes that even routine transactions often represent significant personal or financial milestones for her clients. Whether assisting with the purchase of a business, documenting a complex financing arrangement, negotiating transaction documents, or helping a family plan for the future, she focuses on delivering clear advice and efficient, practical solutions.

Alaina earned her Juris Doctor from Penn State Dickinson Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Susquehanna University. Her background in psychology helps her understand the people and relationships behind each transaction, allowing her to navigate negotiations and client matters with both analytical insight and practical judgment. When not in the office, Alaina enjoys spending time with her family and her hairless cat, Jynx, cooking, and making ceramics.
